These policies apply to www.blackant.tech and any related BAT websites, tools (including the Sponsor and Investor Readiness Assessments), and online services (collectively, the “Site”), operated by Black Ant Tokenization (“BAT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent (for marketing communications), our legitimate interests (for improving and securing the Site), and, where applicable, steps taken at your request prior to entering into an agreement with us.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with: service providers who help us operate the Site (e.g., hosting, email, analytics providers), under confidentiality obligations; our banking, custody and capital-markets partners, or other regulated partners, but only once you have opted into a specific investment or onboarding process, not from general Site browsing; and regulators or authorities, where required by law.
Because BAT operates across Ghana, Canada, the US, the UK, and the EU, your information may be transferred to and processed in a country other than the one in which you reside. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by applicable law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Ghana residents have rights under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843); EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR; Canadian residents have rights under PIPEDA (or applicable provincial law).
