The fine print, in plain language

The full site policies are below, in full. Underneath them, the same ground in plain language — and for any investment, the binding versions live in that offering's data room.

The same ground, in plain language

A summary for readers, not a substitute for the policies above or for an offering's documents.

Risk disclosure

Investing through BAT carries risk, including the total loss of your capital. Tokens are digital securities in single-purpose vehicles that own real property; they are not deposits, are not covered by any deposit protection scheme, and are not guaranteed by BAT, the custodian bank, the trustee, or any sponsor.

Returns depend on income the underlying assets actually collect. Target yields are projections, not promises — quarters with weak trading, a reserve top-up, or a failed reserve-coverage test may distribute less than planned, or nothing at all, with shortfalls accruing cumulatively.

Your tokens cannot be transferred for 12 months after allocation, and after that only through quarterly matching windows to verified buyers in eligible jurisdictions. There is no exchange listing and no guarantee a buyer will exist. You should be prepared to hold to term.

Most assets earn revenue in Ghanaian cedi while tokens are denominated in US dollars; currency movement directly affects your income even when an asset performs to plan. No hedge is in place unless an offering document says otherwise.

Privacy, in short

We collect the identity, address, and suitability information the law requires for holding digital securities, and we share it only with our verification partner, the trustee, and regulators. Verification images are deleted once checks complete; only the result and an audit hash are retained.

Operational data — subscriptions, holdings, distributions, statements — is retained for the life of your investment plus statutory record-keeping periods. You can request an export or correction of your data at any time by writing to info@blackant.tech.

We never sell personal data, and staff access to investor identities is role-restricted and audit-logged.

Platform terms, in short

Black Ant Tokenization operates this platform under Ghana’s virtual asset framework (Act 1154), supervised by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana. Using the platform requires a verified account; eligibility rules for jurisdiction, investor tier and per-investor caps are compiled into each token contract and enforced automatically.

Subscription money is held in escrow at a licensed Ghanaian bank through the trustee structure, not by BAT, and is returned in full if a round fails its minimum. Retail subscriptions carry a 48-hour cooling-off period from signing.

The binding terms for any investment are the offering memorandum and subscription agreement for that offering. If anything on this site conflicts with those documents, the documents win.
